CDM Content Distribution Managers Series

The Cisco 4600 Series Content Distribution Manager (CDM) is a Content Delivery Network (CDN) device that configures network and device policy settings for edge node Content Engines (CE). Used to accelerate web content and save network bandwidth in a Content Networking architecture, the CDM can be easily integrated into existing network infrastructures. Deployed in an Enterprise or Service Provider Internet or Extranet environment, the Cisco CDM and CEs provide transparent on-demand rich media streaming and static file delivery to standard PCs.
